Foz Allan – Creative Director

Executive Producer Foz Allan leads the company. He is an experienced drama producer with particular experience in creating and running return series. He has a thorough understanding of the UK drama production and commissioning process, together with strong editorial skills and talent relationships.

He has significant experience in overseas and post production. Recently he has delivered Sky Atlantic’s hit show, RIVIERA, as series producer and led the production process for JEKYLL AND HYDE, ITV’s sumptuous and monstrous adaptation set in the 1930’s by Charlie Higson.

For the BBC he co-created ROBIN HOOD with Dominic Minghella for BBC1 which became one of BBC Worldwide’ s bestselling dramas. Also for the BBC in Wales he created BELONGING, which ran for 10 series. It was nominated, and won, many BAFTA Cymru awards, including Best Drama for Series 1.

He has extensive experience in Children’s Drama, being the originating producer for WOLFBLOOD (CBBC/ZDF), THE DUMPING GROUND, HETTY FEATHER and HARRIET’S ARMY, all of which have generated BAFTA Nominations and Awards.

Emma Yap – Development Producer

Development Producer Emma Yap graduated from the University of Cambridge in Economics before working in investment banking and biotechnology. She joined the media industry in 2013 after being accepted as a writer on the Royal Court Theatre’s Unheard Voices scheme. She has worked in International Sales at Bankside Films and Global Acquisitions at NBC Universal, as well as producing award-winning feature film, MAKING IT, which premiered at the East End International Film Festival. She is Co-Founder of Female Film Leaders, an organisation dedicated to inspiring the next generation of female executives in Film and TV.

Jonathan Wolfman – Head of Children’s and YA Development

Prior to joining Bryncoed Productions Ltd, Jonathan Produced KATY, a 3-part BAFTA and ROCKIE award winning drama for CBBC, where he was heavily involved with some of their key brands. He was script executive on THE WORST WITCH series 2 and produced series 3, 4 and 5 of the multi-award winning WOLFBLOOD. He helped develop the original series of HETTY FEATHER, was script editor on series 1 and 2 of WOLFBLOOD, series 1 of the BAFTA award winning series THE DUMPING GROUND and all three series of TRACY BEAKER RETURNS. He was also executive script editor on the 52 part animation series PET SQUAD and series 2 of SCOOP.

Before working for CBBC in-house productions, he was story editor on the 52 part animation series, BUNNY MALONEY, for Moonscoop and France 2 and spent a number of years working as a development producer for Talent Television, across a wide range of genres and formats as well as devising the reality game show BEST OF FRIENDS (96 episodes) made for CBBC.

Sarah Baker – Office Manager

Office Manager Sarah graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Film Studies, before gaining experience at Mile End Films as a Video Editor. She edited short promotional and corporate videos for external clients, such as UK Sport, and internal clients within Queen Mary University, where Mile End Films is based. She then moved back to Kent and acquired office experience in Customer Services and as an Office Manager for online retailers. She manages the office in Canterbury, and provides secretarial and administrative support to the team.
